Climate changes
Climate changes is part of the global changes that represents a global challenge of the world. There's a wide range of evidence which indicates our climate is warming: Increasing temperatures at the surface, above the surface, and in the depths of the ocean, changes in rainfall patterns, changes in nature, sea-level rise, melting glaciers, reduction in Arctic sea-ice, shrinking ice-sheets.
You can find bellow maps for main climate indicators in Europe for the standard climate period 1961-1990 and for two climate future projection according with two Global Climate Models (GCM) developed by Met Office Hadley Centre (UK): HADCM2 and HADCM3- 1961 - 1990
- HADCM2 2015 - 2025
- HADCM2 2085 - 2095
- HADCM3 2015 - 2025
- HADCM3 2085 - 2095
HadCM2 was the first Met Office Hadley Centre coupled model developed under the Unified Modelling system.
HADCM3 – is the second coupled atmosphere-ocean general circulation model (AOGCM) developed at the Hadley Centre in the United Kingdom and it was one of the major models used in the IPCC Third Assessment Report in 2001.
